AN ORGANIZATION THAT BRINGS WOMEN AND HEALTH CARE TO THE FOREFRONT

We'd like to make a difference not only in the lives of women, but also in the healthcare industry and play a significant part in the larger picture of the future of women in healthcare.

To all the supporters and future supporters,

I want to welcome you to the Lunge for Healthcare Family. We are a community of everyday people looking to do extraordinary things. Lunge for Healthcare has the potential to go global and it is my prayer to see this to its conclusion. Insurance companies and the medical community have been putting women’s health on the back burner for far too long. Lunge for Healthcare plans to give back women the choices they once had. Please join us in serving women and their healthcare needs for a better future.

Let’s band together and fight for our voices to be heard.

National Speaker, Coach, Author of “I Am The One”

Lunge For Healthcare Founder

our
story
Lunge For Healthcare was born out of a promise to God but has developed into so much more.

At age forty-four, Viki Zarkin was told to go home and get her affairs in order. She had two young children at home and vowed no one was going to raise her children but herself. From that moment on, Viki was in a fight for her life.

Viki discovered that she needed to learn all she could about her cancer and therefore became her own advocate. By advocating for herself, Viki was able to change her status quo. She challenged the medical community and insurance systems in order to fight for her life. Today Viki is the only one living with her aggressive form of cancer. It is her goal that more women stand shoulder to shoulder with her and this terrible disease. She wants women to have the right to tuck their children into bed as she had that opportunity. Viki still fights today as she is living with her cancer. She gets regular maintenance, chemotherapy treatment that takes its toll. But Viki will never stop fighting for herself and for others.

It’s been eleven years since Viki was diagnosed and she is keeping that promise. But she needed to rein in her passion in order to better serve women long-term. Therefore, Lunge For Healthcare was born.

Not only does Viki head up Lunge For Healthcare, but she is also a National Speaker, Author of “I Am The One”, and Coach. She has a course that she will teach on zoom and on her television channel through Nature Balance TV, “I Am The One, Surviving Cancer Day by Day”.

In Viki’s book “I Am The One”, she tells her story in vivid raw detail. It is as if you (the reader) are sitting in her living room going through all the same pain and aggravation she went through. She brings a humor into her story that only she could do with her upbeat and positive attitude. Viki’s story is amazing and heartfelt, bundled into her book she so lovingly dedicates to her children.

we need to expand our vision so we can take our organization global. In order to accomplish this, LungE For Healthcare has plans to grow our network and build our advertising through resources such as social media and Billboards. We are fostering a supportive community to change the way women and healthcare is treated today.

what do we do?

Lunge for Healthcare is an organization that seeks to help women and their long-term healthcare goals.

WHOM DO WE SERVE?

Our goal is to help women understand their bodies and help doctors be better listeners. By simply communicating,  we can get to the root of the problem before it gets much larger.

HOW DO WE SERVE THEM?

Lunge for Healthcare suggests that we follow our instincts, listen to our bodies, and be our best advocates. We want to teach our doctors to help women be their own best advocates. Our hope is if these simple practices are followed, many women wouldn’t die of cancers and other diseases that could have been treated earlier and more easily.

01.
ONE WOMAN AT A TIME

Be positive and remain stronger. We are empowered when we band together.

02.
Insurance coverage changes

Show insurance companies that we can save millions of dollars with our simple program. We will ask that they use some of those saved monies to restore women’s healthcare back to the coverage that we deserve.

03.
changing our future generation

Not all women get to have an equal education, and obviously, all women don’t have the same upbringing, so the importance of having confidence in their bodies was not always taught. So it is up to us to change the future generation.

OUR BOARD OF advisors
Jill Bennett-Weiss

Jill Bennett-Weiss has been a first-grade teacher for thirty years. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She has had experience selling items, fundraising, planning activities, and special activities.

She has worked closely and cooperatively with parents, teachers, and administrators. Jill and her husband are the parents of two sons ages 20 and 30 years old.

"I made a promise to God that if I could raise my children, I would help women and I keep my promises. While my kids were growing up, I made it my mission to help at least one person every day. Big or small, it didn’t matter. But now my kids are off to school and so I need to help women on a larger scale."
